This hour opens with check-in and identity verification — your instructor confirms your name, case/cause number, and county in the Zoom chat, so keep this lesson's workbook link open. Next, your instructor explains the family-court statute behind this class in plain language: why the court requires it, not just that it does. The core idea for the day is shifting from “Marital Dynamics” mode — emotional, backward-looking — into the “Co-Parenting Business Model” mode — professional, forward-looking, child-focused. You don't have to like a business partner to communicate with them productively, and that's the model for the rest of the class. You'll then complete the Trigger & Boundary Inventory: naming two things that pull you into old patterns, and writing one professional boundary you can hold instead. The hour closes with a short group discussion of a few boundaries, shared anonymously.
